This was actually a very needed read for me. Thank you for sharing and reminding us to be present in learning about our own lives.

Thank you for reading! I’m trying to remind myself too, there’s so much to notice when we slow down enough to pay attention.

You are truly speaking my language. Thank you for this. I love this sentence: “My life has a syllabus.” What our moments are memories teach us. It’s about the books and the authors who mirror our experiences. it’s about the music that is soundtrack of the many chapters of our lives 💕

This is beautiful. The idea that our lives deserve the same careful study we give to those we admire is such a profound invitation. “What if ‘a lot’ is also a text?” will stay with me. Thank you for reminding us that our own becoming is worthy of attention, reflection and reverence.

Thank you 🌹 For this “Testimony still needs wisdom. Every story doesn’t belong to everybody, and every memory doesn’t have to become a lesson before it’s ready. Some stories can be shared from the altar. Some belong at the table. Some stay with the people who’ve earned the right to sit close.”

You are wise and astute to take the time to closely observe and evaluate your life at 40. Unfortunately, I was much older before I began to dissect the different pieces of my life, trying to understand the why. It's never too late to understand the why. It gives the joy and pain purpose. And perhaps, that makes them worthwhile.
